Many organizations have international operations as well as other requirements for their workforce to travel on their behalf. To ensure that employees are safe while travelling, it is incumbent upon the employer to provide those travelling employees with the necessary resources to ensure they’re protected from the various threats they may face. Different destinations present different risks. Some parts of the world are clearly more dangerous than others. Knowing what those threats are and what to do if presented with any of those threats is essential. Employers have a duty of care for anyone that is representing their firms anywhere in the world.
